The Small Batch Recioto Wine Cask at 46% is the latest in Teeling’s Sommelier Selection series, following Sauternes, Margaux, and Amarone releases.
Recioto, a sweet red wine from Veneto in northeastern Italy, lends its intense flavor to this whiskey. Teeling’s standard Small Batch serves as the base, matured for an additional 16 months in hand-selected Recioto wine barrels. This limited edition masterfully combines the fruity notes of cranberries, plums, and cherries from the Recioto barrels with the floral-fruity characteristics of Teeling Small Batch, creating a truly exceptional profile.
