A new addition to the Springbank collection, Longrow 100 Proof brings bold peat smoke together with the elegance of red wine cask influence. This heavily peated Campbeltown single malt matured for nearly four years in refill bourbon casks before spending an additional two years in refill Pinot Noir casks. As a result, it delivers a striking balance of smoky intensity and vibrant fruit flavors.
On the nose, medicinal smoke and hints of tar blend with fresh red berries, especially redcurrants. The palate unfolds with earthy peat, creamy crème brûlée, vanilla, and toasted almonds. Finally, the finish lingers with notes of red cola, strawberries, marzipan, and a deep, smoky character.
