JM Angels… another name that sounds like a bell for the seventh edition of the Experimental series at Calvados Christian Drouin. JM Angels is a 10 year old Calvados Pays d’Auge who spent another 8 months in 6 old French rum barrels that previously contained VSOP from the great JM rums from Martinique. The rum barrel adds extra vanilla to the Drouin profile and makes the calvados a little rounder in taste. This is without a doubt the most delicate rum finish in the Angels series to date. Bottled at 46.5%.

Taste profile

Nose: opens with notes of vanilla, brown sugar and toast before releasing aromas of roasted apple and apricot.
Mouth: rectilinear, with a nice balance between strength and roundness.
Finish: zest of apple.

This bottling is highly limited (only 1528 bottles worldwide).
