Beschrijving

The Ardnamurchan AD / Paul Launois 2026 Release marks the triumphant return of one of the distillery’s most sought-after limited editions. This Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky combines Ardnamurchan’s elegant coastal spirit with the luxurious influence of Champagne barriques from the renowned Paul Launois house.

Distilled in 2017 and matured primarily in ex-bourbon casks before a refined finishing period in Paul Launois Champagne casks, this unpeated release delivers remarkable balance, texture, and complexity. Bottled at natural cask strength of 57.4% ABV, non-chill filtered and with no added colouring, it showcases the distillery’s commitment to authenticity and transparency.

Tasting Notes

  • Nose: Orchard fruits, peach melba, toasted coconut, buttery pastries, citrus marmalade, and crystallised ginger.
  • Palate: Candied fruits, rhubarb, dulce de leche, orange zest, salted cashews, white chocolate, and gentle spice.
  • Finish: Long, creamy, slightly saline, with elegant citrus freshness and lingering pastry sweetness.

The Champagne cask influence adds texture and brightness without overpowering the distillery character, resulting in a sophisticated and highly collectible Ardnamurchan release.
