Compass Box created No Name I as their peatiest whisky, even surpassing the Peat Monster. This blend primarily includes heavily peated single malts, with the bulk sourced from Caol Ila, known for its robust smoky profile. Additionally, it contains whisky from Ardbeg and a smaller portion from Clynelish, enhancing its complexity and balance.
The name “No Name” was chosen to let the whisky’s character speak for itself. This limited edition aims to showcase the art of blending peated whiskies, resulting in a complex, smoky, and richly flavored dram.
