Glenglassaugh Distillery is a Scottish whisky distillery located on the coast of Aberdeenshire, close to Sandend Bay. Founded in 1875, the distillery is known for its distinctive coastal setting. Its surroundings and proximity to the sea are an important source of inspiration for the character of its whiskies.

Glenglassaugh Sandend is part of the distillery’s core range. Its name is inspired by the crescent-shaped beach of Sandend Bay, located close to the distillery.
This unpeated single malt is matured in a combination of bourbon, sherry and Manzanilla casks. These different cask types contribute to a rich flavour profile combining tropical fruit, sweetness and maritime freshness.
Bottled at 50.5% ABV, Sandend delivers a full-flavoured and powerful whisky experience.
