Description
Creations is a vatted malt or like we need to say nowadays a blended malt. So it consists only single malt scotch, but from different distilleries. This might give you a more complex whisky, because you blend different whisky profiles together.
This Creations was created and bottled by Scotlands oldest independent bottler, Cadenhead’s. This 23yo blended malt is from a single cask vatted together in 2012 and left to marry. It is bottled at 51,6% in 2016.
Official tasting notes:
- Nose: Honey, with sweet cocktail cherries and a hint of icing sugar
- Palate: Vanilla, raisins and shortbread
- Finish: Sugar coated apricots, sweet fruits with a light vanilla finish
