The Rising Reserve adds to our lineup of internationally celebrated Irish whiskeys, winners of over 400 awards in the past decade, including the World Whiskies Awards’ triple crowns for \u201cWorld\u2019s Best Single Malt,\u201d \u201cWorld\u2019s Best Pot Still,\u201d and \u201cWorld\u2019s Best Single Grain.\u201d The series will feature 5 different releases of our oldest and most intriguing Single Malts from the Teeling Whiskey reserves, rolled out over the coming years to showcase the quality and variety of Irish, especially Teeling Single Malt.<\/p>\n
The inaugural release in the Rising Reserve series is a 21 Year Old Single Malt. We aged it in ex-Bourbon casks for over 16 years, then finished it in high-quality ex-Carcavelos White Port casks for more than 5 years. This dual maturation, particularly the extended finishing period, bestows unique deep citrus and orchard fruit flavors, balanced by spice and wood notes.
