    We love how the illustration of \u201cThe Bay\u201d brings to life the rugged Southeast coastline of Scotland. The Benrinnes distillery is featured in Chapter 4 and it\u2019s a heavier, more full-flavoured experience than your \u2018typical\u2019 Speyside single malt. We love the meaty, nutty and malty qualities of this distillery and it was those qualities we continued to explore throughout our cask selection. In active American Oak casks, we see a complex whisky develop over time that evolves into a brilliantly robust single malt. It\u2019s no surprise that Benrinnes is highly regarded by blenders here in Scotland.<\/p>\n

    Tasting Notes:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Nose: <\/strong>Bitter tangerine peel, dark chocolate, cold brew coffee, yeast, almost meaty with some slightly tart white wine. Pencil shavings, toasted oak and spices on the back end – cinnamon.<\/li>\n
    • Palate: <\/strong>Benrinnes carries weight and the nutty style is really clear on the palate. Fruit notes dance around the savoury qualities providing great contrasts and complexities.<\/li>\n
    • Finish: <\/strong>A touch of spiced oak in the back. A medium finish with hints of tropical fruit and rich warm malty tones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
