About Fettercairn<\/h3>\n

Fettercairn Distillery was founded in 1824 and is located in the foothills of Scotland’s Grampian Mountains. The distillery is renowned for its distinctive copper cooling ring, which showers water over the copper stills during distillation. This innovative technique contributes to Fettercairn’s characteristic light and tropical house style.<\/p>\n

Over deze botteling<\/h3>\n

Fettercairn Warehouse 2 Batch 2 is the second release in the Warehouse Collection, a series of limited small-batch bottlings featuring carefully selected casks from the distillery’s Warehouse 2.<\/p>\n

This edition brings together 29 carefully selected casks filled with spirit distilled in 2009. The whisky matured in first-fill American rye barrels and first-fill ex-bourbon barrels. The combination of these two cask types brings together sweet, fruity aromas and a distinctive spicy character.<\/p>\n

Released in 2021, this limited edition consists of just 6,000 bottles.<\/p>\n

    • Neus <\/strong>An expressive and lively fruity aroma featuring apple, juicy pineapple and banana. Lemon candy adds freshness, while honey, vanilla, marzipan and a hint of cinnamon provide softness and complexity.<\/li>\n
    • Mond: <\/strong>The fruity character remains, now accompanied by greater spicy depth. Ginger cake, cinnamon and aniseed combine with candied orange peel, malty biscuits and rye cereal notes. Subtle hints of sweetened coffee emerge towards the end.<\/li>\n
