Tasting Notes:

• Appearance: Pale straw
• Nose: Extremely smoky and pungent with notes of iodine, band-aids, rubber, and hints of campfire. There are subtle undertones of orange peel and marshmallow.
• Palate: Light mouthfeel with initial sooty or charcoal flavors. The middle reveals sweet simple syrup, orange peel, floral jasmine, and rose hips, with hints of pineapple.
• Finish: Long and persistent smokiness with layers of complexity.

No Name III is the third and final release in Compass Box’s No Name series, which explores heavily peated whisky. This edition prominently features 74.7% single malt from Laphroaig Distillery, known for its seaweedy and barbecue-scented peat. It also includes contributions from Bowmore (11.3%), Mortlach (7.5%), and Clynelish (6%), adding depth and fruity notes. This expression is designed to push the boundaries of smoky whisky, offering a vibrant and expansive peat experience.
