Billy Walker specially selected this limited release of 2,000 cases. It matured in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in Douro Valley barriques. Aged in Speyside, the whisky is non-chill filtered and contains no added coloring.
The Douro Valley, located in Portugal, is one of the world’s oldest protected wine regions. Established in 1756, it has the highest wine classification as a Denominação de Origem Controlada (DOC). This historic region is known for producing robust, characterful red wines.
The oak species, toasting level, and coopering process each leave a unique mark on the whisky, influencing its rich character.
