Box Bizar Grand Opening

We are incredibly excited about our official opening, but with a project like this, it is almost impossible to ever be truly “finished”. Box Bizar is not a completed final destination, but a place that is constantly evolving. For the past six years, we have been renovating and transforming the Ten Broek church ourselves, step by step, through plenty of trial and error, and with even more determination.

At the moment, we are also in the final administrative stretch: the permit applications, the approval process with the fire brigade, and the file with Customs and Excise for recognition as a bonded warehouse.

But despite all of this, we have made our decision: on 26 September 2026, we are officially opening our doors.

Not because everything is perfect.

But because it is time to bring it to life.

What you will experience that day is not a perfectly finished concept, but a place that breathes, evolves, and is still very much in development. A church coming back to life — not as a monument, but as a meeting place centred around flavour, music, and experiences.

You will already be able to discover what Box Bizar is becoming: a world of exceptional spirits, distinctive beers, and refined Champagnes, complemented by cocktails, food pairings, and unexpected combinations.
