Description
Drouin Calle 23 Angels, the fifth edition of the Experimental Series at Calvados Christian Drouin, is now available. This edition showcases a collaboration with Mexico’s Tequila Calle 23. Alex Mermillod, the current Drouin export manager and an expert in agave, led this project.
The blend combines two tequila barrels: one first-fill barrel aged for 13 months and a second-fill barrel aged for four months. This limited release, at 48.8% alcohol by volume, boasts a rich profile with flavors of walnut, olives, and truffle. It evolves into notes of white chocolate and stewed apples, finishing with grilled almonds.
Calle 23 Angels is bottled at 48.8% ABV, with only 1,050 bottles available.
