Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Moderately intense aromas of cornhusks, steamed peas, hay, and sea spray, with hints of iodine and burnt paper.
- Palate: Spicy with flavors of matcha green tea and apple skins, turning silky with a splash of water. The finish is lightly bitter.
- Finish: Lightly bitter with lingering flavors from the palate.
Torabhaig Allt Gleann is the second release in the Legacy Series from the first new distillery on the Isle of Skye in 190 years. It captures the essence of Skye with its “well-tempered peat,” offering a balance of peat smoke, citrus fruits, and spices. The whisky is non chill-filtered and bottled without added coloring, preserving its natural character and depth.
