Description
The Macallan was founded in 1824 in Craigellachie, in the heart of Scotland’s Speyside region. The distillery is renowned for its close attention to oak casks and their influence on the character, colour and flavour of its single malts.
The Macallan Lumina is part of the Quest Collection, a range launched in 2017 for the global travel-retail market. As the second expression in the collection, Lumina explores the combination of different cask types: European and American sherry-seasoned oak casks, complemented by hogsheads. The result is a vibrant, fruit-forward single malt with notes of citrus, apple, pear, vanilla and spiced oak.
