About this bottling
Fettercairn Warehouse 2 Batch 2 is the second release in the Warehouse Collection, a series of limited small-batch bottlings featuring carefully selected casks from the distillery’s Warehouse 2.
This edition brings together 29 carefully selected casks filled with spirit distilled in 2009. The whisky matured in first-fill American rye barrels and first-fill ex-bourbon barrels. The combination of these two cask types brings together sweet, fruity aromas and a distinctive spicy character.
Released in 2021, this limited edition consists of just 6,000 bottles.

Tasting Notes
- Nose: An expressive and lively fruity aroma featuring apple, juicy pineapple and banana. Lemon candy adds freshness, while honey, vanilla, marzipan and a hint of cinnamon provide softness and complexity.
- Palate: The fruity character remains, now accompanied by greater spicy depth. Ginger cake, cinnamon and aniseed combine with candied orange peel, malty biscuits and rye cereal notes. Subtle hints of sweetened coffee emerge towards the end.
- Finish: Medium in length and slightly drying, with warming baking spices, dark syrup and sweet citrus.
